The Advanced tab window is used to open dialog boxes for creating and manipulating constraints.
To open the Advanced tab window, click the Advanced tab on the main window.
To save information, click OK on a dialog box.
To close the window, click the Global or Ports tab.

Field | Description |
---|---|
Create Groups by Elements (TIMEGRP) | Opens a dialog box from which you can create a new time group. See Groups by Elements (TIMEGRP) in the "Using the Constraints Editor" chapter. |
Create Groups by Nets (TNM) | Opens a dialog box from which you can create a new time name. See Groups by Net (TNM) in the "Using the Constraints Editor" chapter. |
Create Timing THRU Points (TPTHRU) | Opens a dialog box from which you can create a new THRU point constraint. See Timing THRU Points (TPTHRU) in the "Using the Constraints Editor" chapter. |
Specify Pad to Setup Requirement(s) (OFFSET IN BEFORE) | Opens a dialog box from which you can create a Pad to Setup constraint. See Pad to Setup Requirement(s) (OFFSET IN BEFORE) in the "Using the Constraints Editor" chapter. |
Specify Clock to Pad Requirement(s) (OFFSET OUT AFTER) | Opens a dialog box from which you can create a Clock to Pad constraint. See Clock to Pad Requirement(s) (OFFSET IN BEFORE) in the "Using the Constraints Editor" chapter. |
Specify Slow/Fast Path Exceptions (FROM/TO) | Opens a dialog box from which you can create an explicit timespec constraint specifying the maximum delay between groups of elements. See Slow/Fast Path Exceptions (FROM/THRU/TO) in the "Using the Constraints Editor" chapter. |
Specify Multicycle Paths (FROM TO) | Opens a dialog box from which you can create a timespec constraint specifying the maximum delay between groups of elements and relative to another time specification. See Multicycle Paths (FROM/THRU/TO) in the "Using the Constraints Editor" chapter. |
Specify False Paths (FROM/THRU/TO) | Opens a dialog box from which you can create a constraint that for timing purposes ignores specified paths. See False Paths (FROM/THRU/TO) in the "Using the Constraints Editor" chapter. |
Specify False Paths by Nets (NET TIG) | Opens a dialog box from which you can create a constraint that for timing purposes ignores specified nets. See False Paths by Nets (NET TIG) in the "Using the Constraints Editor" chapter. |
Manage Editable Constraints | Opens the Constraints window showing the editable constraints. |
View Source Constraints | Opens the Constraints window showing the read-only constraints. |
