Keyboard Shortcuts

Use the following keyboard shortcuts to navigate and select objects on the PROM File Formatter screen and to navigate in the Help tool.

The following table is a summary of the PROM File Formatter keyboard shortcuts.

Ctrl N	Runs the File New command.
Ctrl O	Runs the File Open command.
Ctrl S	Runs the File Save command.
Alt Enter	Runs the File PROM Properties command.
Ctrl Z	Runs the Edit Undo command.
Ctrl R	Runs the Edit Redo command.
Ctrl X	Runs the Edit Cut command.
Ctrl C	Runs the Edit Copy command.
Ctrl V	Runs the Edit Paste command.
Alt	Runs the Edit Move Up command.
Alt	Runs the Edit Move Down command.
Tab	In the PROM File Formatter window, toggles the keyboard focus between the PROM description area and the file selection area. In a dialog box, traverses forward through objects and highlights them.
Shift Tab	In a dialog box, traverses backward through objects and highlights them.
Enter	Activates a selection button or a highlighted item in a list.
Delete	Deletes the selected file or data stream.
Arrow keys	Scrolls up or down inside selection boxes, including menus. Also, scrolls up or down the hierarchical display in the PROM description area or the file selection area.
Alt Character	Selects a menu (for example, Alt F selects the File menu).
Esc	Deselects a menu or exits a dialog box.
