The BSCAN symbol indicates enabled boundary scan logic after completing the FPGA configuration.The symbol also provides optional access to some special features of the Spartan/XL, XC4000E/L, XC4000EX/XL/XV, and XC5200 boundary scan logic.
If using the Spartan/XL, XC4000E/L, XC4000EX/XL/XV, or XC5200 device family, you can also use the BSCAN design element in your design. For details, see the “BSCAN” section of the Xilinx Libraries Guide.
There is no simulation modeling for boundary scan.
