What Is XSI?

XSI supports Synopsys FPGA Compiler Version 3.4b or later and Synopsys Design Compiler Version 3.4b or later.

Use the XSI design tool kit to implement Xilinx Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) designs using either Synopsys FPGA Compiler or Design Compiler. These Synopsys High-Level Design Automation (HLDA) tools allow you to create and optimize circuit designs from hardware descriptions written in VHSIC Hardware Description Language (VHDL) or Verilog HDL. Library support for XC4000E/L/EX/XL/XLA/XV and XC5200 devices includes a Xilinx DesignWare (XDW) library.
