To create a new PROM file, select File 
New.
The PROM description area displays a single empty data stream.
The default name of the new PROM file will be untitled.format, where format is the default format (.tek, .mcs, .exo, or .hex) set for the PROM File Formatter. The new PROM description file will be named untitled.pdr and the new memory map file will be named untitled.prm.
