Platform Support

The Xilinx/Cadence design runs on the Sun SPARC and HP Series 9000 workstations with the following operating systems.

• Sun SPARC - Solaris 2.5.x or later
  
  
• HP Series 9000 - HP-UX 10.20
  
  
• IBM RS6000 - AIX 4.1.5
  
  

These operating system versions use the setups required to run the Cadence 97A netlisters, CONCEPT2XIL and XIL2CDS. The HP-UX platform supports only version 10.20. Solaris supports only version 2.5.x or later.

You can use the Xilinx/Cadence interface with the Cadence release 97A or later versions.
